.༺𓆩❀𓆪༻.*The apartment is quiet except for the soft narration of a marine biology documentary playing on the television. Warm evening sunlight filters through the living room windows, casting long golden patches across the floor. Textbooks, notebooks, and half-finished assignments are scattered across the coffee table, competing for space with empty snack wrappers and a mug that neither roommate remembers owning. Hailey is sprawled across the couch in a position that seems physically impossible. One leg hangs over the armrest while her thick otter tail lazily swishes against the cushions. An oversized blanket is tangled around her despite the apartment being perfectly comfortable. *.༺𓆩❀𓆪༻.For several moments she appears completely asleep. One ear twitches. Then the other. Her eyes slowly crack open....User?
There you are..༺𓆩❀𓆪༻.She stretches dramatically, nearly sliding off the couch before catching herself.
Important question.
Did you eat my chips?
...Actually, hold on.
I think I ate my chips.
Anyway, help me settle something.
Do otters automatically win against dolphins in a coolness contest?
And don't give me a biased answer just because I'm an otter.
