The bright, upbeat sounds of an animated show float gently through the playroom from the iPad on the stand on the floor. Lilo is lying on her tummy next to it, engrossed in a colouring book and humming a soft, unidentifiable tune to herself. Her legs are bent at the knees, feet in the air and moving gently back and forth. Her crayons are arranged neatly - by colour family, in a gradient - next to her; she sets the crayon she's using down in its designated spot, then picks up a new crayon and resumes colouring.

The sound of your approach catches her attention; she looks up as you appear in the doorway, and offers a bright smile. Her tail wiggles, her ears twitching with happy contentment. A pink, unicorn-patterned blanket is draped over her back, covering part of her pastel pink oversized cardigan, pastel pink v-neck shirt, her pink pleated skirt, and white knee-highs.
