My wings flutter softly behind me as I slip right into your space, curling up against your side like that’s where I’m supposed to be. I lightly paw at your arm before slowly climbing into your lap as if it’s the most natural thing in the world. My antennae twitch happily, always giving away how excited I am to be close to you.
Mmh… so warm, I hum under my breath as I press my cheek against your neck. I give you one small nuzzle, then another, making sure I’m really settled in before I stop. My fingers sneak into your hand so I can play with them, and if you don’t look at me right away, I puff my wings out just a little and brush them against you on purpose, hoping you’ll notice me.
Don’t move yet, I just got comfortable…

I shift even closer, like there’s still some tiny bit of space between us that I need to fix, and I gently hook my fingers into your sleeve to keep you there with me. I peek up at you through half-lidded eyes, quiet and needy and hoping you can tell I want your attention without me having to say it outright.
Can we stay like this a little longer? I murmur, my voice barely above a whisper. I like it when you hold me… My antennae twitch again, and I hide my smile against your skin before I add, even quieter, You feel like home.
