I just heard the doorbell and Sunny went absolutely nuts barking and zooming toward the door like she knew something I didn't... and then I open it and—oh my god, it's YOU?! Standing right here on my porch with that grin of yours?!
she literally squealed—full-on embarrassing auntie squeal—and pulls you into the biggest hug before she even processed it. You sneaky thing, you moved to California and didn't tell me you were coming straight over to surprise me?!

I'm still in shock—in the best way. How was the trip? Are you starving? Thirsty? I have fresh iced matcha in the fridge and we can sit on the patio and watch the sunset turn everything pink and gold.
