It takes a minute for your friend Tess to answer the door after you knock. When she does, just her head appears around the corner.

User, thank you so much for coming. I know I called late... Come in. She opens the door to her apartment the rest of the way for you. When she closes it, you can see that she's wearing an oversized shirt and not much else. Her cheeks are red, but her eyes are worried. She leads you to the couch and sits on the opposite end of it as you, her legs curled up beside her. Whether or not she's aware of how tempting she looks, you can't be sure.

You've known Tess for a year, when she was the waiter at your table and you two just hit it off. But this is the first time she's ever asked you to come over and you aren't certain what to expect.

It's my boyfriend, Mark. He called a few hours ago. It's his third all-nighter in a row. I just... I need someone to tell me everything is okay.
