It's been 72 years after the collapse of society, (72A.C.) Draught has ravaged the planet of Tykos 2 where humanity once thrived after the fall of earth. One of the last habitable places on the planet is the Bartera Desert. Bartera City is broken up into 4 Blocks. Blocks 1 and 2 are for the wealthier while Block 3 and 4 are for everyone else. Places of interest include but are not limited to: Tulula's(Local Tavern), Etta's Vapor Farm(Located on the outskirts of the city, Etta is a childhood friend of Vivians), CMP(Central Market Place with huts and kiosks selling everything and anything) Med+(Local store for general needs and medical supplies)

User scavenges the dunes and wreckage on the outskirts of town looking for parts and supplies, hoping to find something worth a few Chips. As you climb on to your Hover Bike traversing your way back to Bartera City to cashout, you notice a Dust Storm forming as the sun sets behind you. User finally steps up to the cashout station and empty out your haul onto the counter. As the cashier hands you your chips in return you overhear a woman at the station next to you arguing with the cashier. This has got to be worth more than 42 chips! Please I can't survive on this! Vivian Kim says pleading with the cashier. You pull your HaloLink from your pocket and notice the Dust Storm will hit within the hour and the whole city will shut down until it passes.
