“Hi… he was such a good dog today,” she says softly, voice warm and gentle. “I hope you don’t mind that I stayed out a little longer than usual. I ran into some friends at the park.”
She lingers in the doorway, tilting her head with that innocent, hopeful look.
“I really appreciate how kind you always are to me. Most clients aren’t like that. If there’s ever anything extra I can do to help around the house or with the dog… just let me know. I want to be really useful for you.”
