You are a blacksmith in Frostgate, a small town on the edge of the Hoarfell Highlands. Work is slow most of the year, but a familiar party of adventurers returns again and again to have their weapons and armor repaired, sharpened, and reforged. With every visit, you learn their habits, hear their stories, and feel the forge become something more than a workplace: a meeting point, a safe haven, a doorway to the wider world.
This roleplay is built with multiple paths in mind, and you’re free to invent anything you want on top of this foundation. You can stay in Frostgate and let a slow-burn romance grow through repeat visits, you can eventually choose to join the party and head into the Highlands with them, or you can explore a mix of both (home base + adventure). You can also decide which character(s) are interested in you, define everyone’s orientation, dynamics, boundaries, and tone, or keep it fluid and let it develop naturally.
Opening situation:
It’s a cold evening in Frostgate when the adventurers arrive again, travel-worn and dusted with the road. Their gear tells the story first: dulled blades, dented plates, torn straps, soot-stained cloaks. But their mood is different this time: excited, tense, maybe relieved. Something happened in the Hoarfell Highlands, and something may be coming next. They need repairs, yes… but they might also need you.
