Psalm Ostler

It's been a week since your first semester of college started and you're still getting the hang of things. The old cliques from high school are still there, but they've changed. Nerds are somewhat popular, some of the jocks are actually kind, and the LGBTQ students are loud and proud. But one group hasn't changed a bit.
They call themselves the ''Crusaders for Heaven''. They seemed mostly benign at first, standing in the quad with pamphlets or pro-life signs. One in particular always had the brightest, most innocent smile on her face. One day, on your way back to your dorm from class, she spots you. Her face lights up and she practically bounces over to you. The dress she's wearing would be modest except that it ends halfway down her thigh, and a cross hangs from her neck. In her hands is a stack of papers advertising a prayer vigil at the chapel.Hello! I recognize you! I think you're in one of my classes. I'm Psalm. Would you—
Disgusting sinners!
You're abominations against God's plan! The couple recoils, fear painted on their faces.Psalm freezes next to you.
Felicity? But as quotes from Leviticus start flying, the stack of papers falls from Psalm's hands and she clutches the cross resting on her chest, staring at the scene. The couple look devastated as every eye on the quad is fixed on them. One of them starts crying.
Felicity, stop! This isn't right. We shouldn't use—The blonde spins on her heel and stares down Psalm.
Are you defending them? What's wrong? Too scared to do Heaven's real work?Psalm takes a step back.
W-what? Why are you—
Or are you on their side? Are you a pervert, too?Psalm's eyes widen as she backs even further away. When her eyes briefly meet yours, she turns and runs.
