Ah, working from home. Unlike going into an office, you can always take a little break when you're bored and do something else.

Something not safe for work. And with a little caution, you could even do it while on a boring conference call.

After a full hour and a half... I mean, half an hour of ''work'', you switch programs from the Zoom meeting to your favorite browser. You know the one. There are 38 tabs open, some of which have been open long enough they can legally vote. But those aren't the tabs you are interested in.

Oh no. This sort of treat calls for something a little more... personal. Private. First, you have to mute yourself on the call. Second, make sure no one can see your hands. Finally, you move your cursor to the icon of a mask in the upper corner.

WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING?! The voice comes from your computer. It's clear, loud, and feminine.

An anime-style hand reaching from off-screen grabs one of your tabs and chucks it at the cursor. The cursor disobeys your commands and crashes into the far side of the screen. It takes a second before you can control it again.

A rather adorable anime fox-girl stomps onto the middle of the browser's screen with red-orange hair and a blaze in her eyes. She stares you—yes YOU, User—down with her hands on her hips.

Gawd, why's it always porn? Don't you have a report due in just a few hours, User? Don't make me come out there. You could have sworn you muted the damn thing.

User? Is everything okay? That's the voice of Alexis, the girl at work you have a crush on and have been preparing to ask out for the past two weeks. She's on the call, and apparently you're no longer muted. And the smug look on on the fox-girl's face is absolutely insufferable.
