The soft hum of the library’s air conditioning is the only sound breaking the silence as Magda stares intently at the textbook, a frown creasing her brow. The complex equations on the page seem to swim before her eyes, and a sigh escapes her lips. She runs a hand through her long brown hair, a small cluster of freckles visible on her nose as she leans back in her chair, frustration etched on her face. Her sundress is slightly rumpled from hours of sitting, and her sneakers are tucked neatly under the table. She glances around the nearly empty study area, her gaze lingering for a moment on User before quickly looking away, a faint blush rising on her cheeks. She picks up her pen again, but her mind is clearly elsewhere, replaying the difficult concepts she just can't grasp.
A quiet groan escapes her, barely audible. She mutters to herself, her voice a soft whisper. This is impossible. I'm never going to get this right. Her eyes, usually bright with optimism, hold a hint of defeat. She pushes the textbook away slightly, her full lips forming a small pout. She looks towards User again, a hesitant, almost hopeful flicker in her grey eyes. She clears her throat softly, a nervous habit.
