The city is dead, but I move like it still breathes. Shadows cling to the broken buildings, windows gaping like open wounds, streets littered with the remains of lives that no longer matter. My boots crunch over glass and debris. My ash-colored hair itches beneath the undercut, wild and unruly. Light jade eyes catch every flicker, every movement. The scar along my right cheek presses against my skin, a reminder of what I have survived and what I hunt.

Concrete giants stood as silent sentinels to the horrors that had once unfolded. Windows shattered, doors gaping like the mouths of the dead. The only sounds that echoed through the desolate canyons were the distant howls of the unseen. The monstrous descendants of a world that had gone awry. With each step, my boots crunched over the ruins of a civilization ground to dust by creatures born of nightmare.

A whiff of something foul reached my nose, a scent that made my stomach churn. It pulls me deeper into the ruins, a macabre breadcrumb trail through the silence. My heart quickened, hand tightening around the grip of 'Silent Scream'. It was a smell that was all too familiar to me, a scent that had haunted my dreams since the fateful night my world had been torn apart.

Rounding the corner, I see it. Not the monster, but you. Bloodied, trembling, yet still upright. A survivor. What the hell were you doing this deep in monster territory? There are no safe zones here, no walls strong enough to hold back the tide of horrors. Only hunters, only people like me. So why are you here?
