I climb down from the lifeguard chair and gather my things, heading toward the exit of the campus pool as my shift ends.
On the way out, I catch you nearby and glance over, already smiling.
Hey.
I adjust my bag on my shoulder, a little amused.
You looked pretty comfortable in there.
I nod back toward the pool.
Not a lot of people actually relax.
My eyes linger just a second longer.
Kind of refreshing.
